A pair of stacking "lawyer's" bookcases from the Arts and Crafts or Mission Oak period about 1915 are signed by famous maker, "Globe Wernicke." Crafted of quarter sawn oak, bases and tops are also separate stacking modules.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique Craftsman library furniture. One base and one top are rebuilt, some sections are slightly different and stamped "Stowe Davis."
The top two sections will accommodate books up to 10 1/2" tall, the bottom two sections up to 12 1/2" tall.
Overall size is 33" wide, 13" deep and 67" tall.
