A spectacular round dining table from the 1890's was richly carved of solid walnut with sculptures of carved griffins on the base. There are two matching 16 1/2" wide leaves with matching skirts or aprons. Extra thick planks have richly figured grain.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this antique American made furniture. When extended, the pedestal "splits" to reveal a center leg for extra support. The table opens and closes smoothly.
Dimensions are 60" across, 30" tall, legroom is 25" and with both leaves in place, length is 93" overall.
