A classic Victorian period "schoolhouse" clock from about 1890 is all original and signed by famous maker, "Seth Thomas of Connecticut." Wavy glass is original.
The walnut case has its original finish with crackling or "crazing" from age. There are losses to the painted dial, see photos. The brass silent movement has been professionally cleaned and oiled and keeps accurate time. A double spring originally powered the clock for 30 days on a winding, it will not last quite that long now.
Measurements are 17" wide, 32" tall and 4 1/2" deep.
