Made for a Milwaukee college about 1910, this pair of solid quarter sawn oak "banker" armchairs have curved lumbar spindles for comfort, signed on a brass plate, "William Welch Co., Manitowoc, WI."
The rich restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique library or office furniture. Frames are rock solid, reglued to serve another generation.
Size is 24" wide, 24" deep, 33" tall and seats are 18" high.
