Chinese Antique 1900 Hand Carved Jewelry or Treasure Chest #32301

A charming Chinese jewelry chest or treasure box was hand crafted around 1900 of ash and pine with wrought iron mounts and hardware. Corner joints have hand cut dovetail construction with bamboo pegs at the the joints and on the drawers.

The original lacquer finish is very well preserved on this antique chest. There are shrinkage separations from age plus a burn from a stick of incense on this Asian antique. A key is a handle only, the lock does not work.

Measurements are 12" wide, 8 1/2" deep and 8 1/2" tall.
