Shipper: STORE PICK UP
A small Japanese "kanto naga Hibachi" brazier from the early 1900's is elm burl with a removable copper liner. A small charcoal fire was used for cooking, making tea and heating sake wine. This charming antique furniture makes an interesting coffee table as well.
Drawers for towels, tea leaves and dried seaweed were built with wooden pegs. The copper lining has nice antique verdigris patina, see photos. There are hand carved handles at both ends.
The original finish is well preserved with a few stains and mars for a little antique character, see photos.
Size is 27 1/2" long, 15" deep and 14" tall.
