A hand crafted solid maple carpenter work bench from the early 1900's could also serve as a kitchen island or wine and cheese tasting table. There is an original clamp or vise with a giant wooden screw to hold woodworking projects, useful to crack nuts.
The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving lots of mars, stains and wear for antique character on this American made farmhouse style antique furniture.
Peg holes were used to secure woodworking projects. The drop tray area kept parts from rolling away. For easier delivery, the top is removable from the rugged base.
Measurements are 56" wide including the clamp, 21" deep and 31" tall.
