Brass Antique Student Desk Lamp, Emerald Shade, Pat Manhattan 1879 #32338

A Victorian solid brass student or desk lamp is signed "Manhattan Brass Co., NY," with the latest patent "May 20, (18)79." The emerald glass kerosene font is embossed "Perfection Student Lamp, Pat Nov 22, (18)81."

This American made antique light has been electrified, the standard base socket has been rewired and has a switch. Bulb not included.

The antique emerald blown glass shade is "cased" with opal white inside to reflect light downward. Height is adjustable.

Overall size is 13" across, 8" deep and adjustable 21" to 30" tall.
