Empire Tiger Curly Maple Antique 1825 Chest or Dresser, Ohio #32483

A wonderful country chest or dresser from about 1825 was hand crafted of solid curly or "tiger" grain maple in Ohio. Every surface is hand planed, square cut nails are visible on this Empire period piece.

The restored finish is in excellent condition on this antique furniture, preserving a few mars and shrinkage separations from age for character. Large drawers have hand cut dovetail joints and chamfered bottoms.

Measurements are 43 1/2" wide, 20" deep and 48 1/2" tall.
