Fall Scene with Pond is the subject of this original oil painting on canvas from about 1910. Peaceful with soft autumnal colors, there are birch trees on the banks. Notes on the back describe the artist "Bandes" as English, other sources list him as born in Austria, now the Czech Republic in 1875.

This understated work of art has an opulent frame in genuine gold leaf, embossed with grape vines and flowers in very fine condition.
