Among the Surrey Hills, Antique Victorian Original Oil Painting #32547

"Among the Surrey Hills" is the title of this Victorian period original oil painting on canvas. We find no artist signature on this antique work of art from about 1890. The sky and sheep are especially beautifully rendered.

The back of the canvas is stamped by the "L. Burroughs Co., 500 West Madison," in Chicago. It was in business in an 1886 directory of the city.

The carved frame has touchups in the soft gold finish, see photos.

Overall size is 18 1/2" wide, 22 1/2" tall and 2 1/2" deep.
