A splendid Victorian period chest or dresser from about 1885 was is solid walnut with burl panels and a carved eagle on a globe of the world, a patriotic American symbol of the era.

The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. Upper jewelry or handkerchief drawers have keys as handles only, locks do not work. Large lower drawers have round "pin and cove" dovetail joints. Solid dark brass filigree pulls are original. Drawer sides and tracks are restored for smooth operation.

Measurements are 43 1/2" wide, 21" deep and 48" tall.
