Rhapsody in Blue Played by Gershwin Duo-Art Reproducing Player Piano Roll #32951

This Duo Art reproducing player piano roll of "Rhapsody in Blue, Second Half" was actually recorded by the composer, George Gershwin. The roll and box are in mint condition. This is not for a typical player piano, these "reproducing" rolls had expression and volume variation, and were for specialized equipment, often installed on Steinway pianos and other luxury instruments.

Someone has marked out the "Duo-Art" on the box and roll, rewriting "Ampico," another reproducing system that is incompatible. We have checked with an expert, and this is actually for Duo Art, as printed. The Rhapsody debuted in New York in 1924.
