Empire Mahogany Bench or Stool with Storage, New Tapestry Upholstery #33007

A footstool or bench from the Empire period about 1840 has a new tapestry upholstered top with a hinged lid and storage underneath.

The restored finish is in excellent condition on matched flame grain mahogany. There are numerous restorations and shinkage separations from age, see photos. Brass wheels are original on this American made antique furniture.

Size is 19" x 19" and 20" tall.
