Staff Favorite - Impress with the lavish Italian inlaid marquetry on this adapted king!

Hand crafted in Italy about 1900, this lavish king size bed is mahogany with inlaid burl and satinwood marquetry and banding. Signed "Umberto Brichetto & Co.," the "bombe" or convex design is dramatic. Expertly converted to fit a standard modern king size mattress and spring unit, the demonstrator set in photos is 18" thick together.

The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving a few mars and shrinkage separations from age on this antique furniture. Wood cross supports and legs are included as shown.

Size is 83" wide and 87" long, the headboard is 60" tall and the footboard is 38" tall.
