Oak Fireplace Mantel, Beveled Mirror, Columns c 1900

This architectural fireplace mantel and surround has a beveled mirror and lovely columns. It dates from about 1900 and is constructed of rich quarter sawn oak. The warm medium brown finish is in excellent condition. There are 2 mantel shelves for display, and the columns have especially nice "tiger" oak grain with Ionic carved capitals. Overall size is 5' wide, 6'11" tall with a 10" projection from the wall. The fire opening is 41 1/2" wide and 39" tall. This mantel makes a distinctive statement in any room.
