A rich scene of a palace and gondoliers on the Grand Canal in Venice, Italy, is an artist's print, signed in pencil, "Franz X Wolf." The noted Austrian artist, Franz Xaver Wolf was born in Vienna in 1896 and died in 1990. His traditional work is in galleries and collections across Europe. About 40 years old, the impression from the printing plate is clearly visible just inside the mat board.

A label for the glass reads "UV Filtering Denglas." The understated frame is genuine gold leaf.

Overall measurements are 25" wide, 22" tall, and 1 1/2" deep.
