Surveyor's Transit Theodolite Meteorological Warren Knight, Tripod #33472

A surveyor's transit level instrument is signed "Theodolite Meteorological Warren-Knight Philadelphia Model 84." A folding tripod stand and a tabletop base are included. Dating from around 1930, this vintage instrument appears to be in working order, but we are not surveyors and cannot guarantee this.

There is worn paint on parts of the instrument, the glass level and numerous adjustment screws are intact. The swivel mount has adjustable leveling screws and the base threads onto the tabletop stand or the tripod. There are later electrical lights.

Overall size of the instrument is 13" x 10" and 13" tall. Tripod measurements are 57" tall and 43" across the legs.
