A primitive shoe maker's or cobbler's workbench was hand crafted of solid pine about 1870, and could serve as a fascinating coffee table. The top is cut from a single wide plank.
The restored finish preserves lots of mars and stains for antique character on this American made traditional furniture. There are square cut nails and every surface is hand planed. Legs are solid oak, mortised through the top and there are two drawers. The back rest on the seat is removable for easier delivery on this rugged and rustic piece.
Size is 50" long, 22" wide, 25" tall and the flat top is 12" high.
