An "S" curve roll top desk from the Craftsman period in the very early 1900's is solid quarter sawn oak. The roll glides smoothly and has a working brass lock, signed "Eagle." Deep drawers have dovetail joints. There is a file drawer plus two pull out shelves for extra workspace.
Inside are drawers and cubicles of various sizes, mail slots, and letter holders. Solid brass pulls and label holders are original on this American made antique library or office furniture.
The restored rich finish is in excellent condition, preserving a few mars and shrinkage separations from age for a little antique character. The upper section is removable for easier delivery.
Measurements are 54" wide, 33" deep, 49 1/2" tall, the desktop is 30" high and the kneehole is 25 1/2" tall.
