Black Forest Antique Carved Oak Settee Hall Bench, New Upholstery #33550

This richly hand carved solid oak hall bench or settee is from the Black Forest region, where Switzerland, Germany and France meet. Dating from about 1890, the spiral columns, grapevine and oak leaf motifs are masterful. The seat is newly upholstered.

The deep restored finish is in excellent condition, with a strong and sturdy frame, reglued to serve another generation.

Dimensions are 65" wide, 27" deep, 50" tall and the seat is 19" high.
