A charming late Victorian or Eastlake small chest, washstand or commode from about 1885 would make a very nice vessel sink vanity as well. Carved of solid birch hardwood, there is incised "spoon" carving, characteristic of the era.
The restored rich cherry toned finish is in excellent condition on this antique American made furniture. There is a little "smoke" in the original beveled swivel mirror to show its age. Drawers have round "pin and cove" dovetail joints and original engraved brass pulls.
Dimensions are 30" wide, 17" deep and 76" tall.
