This country kitchen pantry cabinet or jelly cupboard was hand crafted of solid oak and ash in Pennsylvania around 1860. Raised panels and carved pegs at the joints are authentic.
Latches and drop pulls are brass on this American-made antique furniture. Traditional construction techniques show that this cupboard was crafted by a European immigrant carpenter.
The restored finish is in excellent condition with warm patina, preserving stains, mars, wear and shrinkage separations from age. There are square nails and exposed mortise joints.
Size is 59" wide, 20" deep and 50 1/2" tall.
