Oak Quarter Sawn Antique Swivel Adjustable Office Desk Chair, Colonial #34017

A rugged swivel desk chair from about 1915 is solid quarter sawn oak. There is a plaque on the back and a maker's label on underneath that reads "Colonial Chair Co. Chicago, IL. "

The restored deep finish is in excellent condition, preserving just enough mars for a little antique character. The frame is reglued to serve another generation.

An original steel mechanism has adjustable height and tilt. Curved lumbar spindles and the sculpted seat are comfortable on this American made antique library or office furniture. Ball bearing wheels are modern replacements.

Measurements are 24" wide, 23" deep, 34" tall and the seat is 17" high as shown, adjustable up and down.
