From the days of the ice man before electric refrigeration, this solid oak ice box from the early 1900's has a stenciled label on the back side, "Gibson." The original hardware is solid brass with a nickel finish. The enamel and galvanized tin interior with shelves is original. Doors have raised panels, the bottom panel is hinged to place a drip collection tray.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique farmhouse kitchen pantry furniture. The back is wainscoting, and this piece would make an excellent snack center or pantry as well.
Size is 36" wide, 21" deep and 51" tall.
