Traditional Georgian Design Antique Oak English Secretary Desk #34191

A classic Georgian style secretary desk was hand crafted of solid oak about 1880 in England. There is mahogany inlaid banding at the edges and original brass pulls are heavy weight.

The restored finish is in excellent condition with warm antique patina. There are numerous shrinkage separations from age, see photos. The drop front rests on pull out supports, inside are tiny drawers and cubicles for papers.

Graduated drawers have hand cut dovetail joints. Keys are handles only, locks do not work on this antique library furniture.

Measurements are 39" wide, 19" deep and 41" tall, the desktop is 30" high.
