A "Victor Talking Machine" or Victrola wind up phonograph model VV-XVI from about 1920 has a carved mahogany case. The wind up motor plays standard old 78 rpm records well. Nickle mount and working locks are original.
The original glowing finish is in remarkably fine condition with a little "crazing" from age and has been preserved with clear varnish, see photos. This antique record player was American made in New Jersey.
Inside the lid is the original Nipper dog logo with "His Master's Voice." There are speed and on/off controls. Volume control is soft - both doors closed, medium - one door open, and loud - both doors open. A group of old records in albums are included as shown.
Size of this American made antique furniture is 24" wide excluding the removable winding crank, 25" deep, and 50" tall when lid is closed.
