An imposing executive or library desk from about 60 years ago has lost its label, but it is unmistakably from the distinctive "Viking Oak" collection by famous maker, "Romweber of Indiana." Richly carved oak is accented with walnut "butterfly" and peg joints. Raised and shaped panels are dramatic.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this vintage furniture. Drawers have solid oak sides with dovetail joints. On the opposite side are cabinets and bookshelves. Hardware is solid brass, there are pull out shelves plus a file drawer.
Measurements are 72" long, 38" deep, 30 1/2" tall and the kneehole is 30" wide and 24 1/2" high.
