A Midcentury Modern watch or clock maker's work bench was crafted of pine about 1960, and would be an interesting wine and cheese table. This workbench was used either standing or with a stool.
Working "sidelocks" latch both right and left banks of drawers with a key. There is a gallery around the top plus a groove along the front to capture tiny parts that might roll away. Sixteen drawers have tiny "finger cut" dovetail joints.
The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving a few mars for a little character. American made vintage furniture, hardware is original.
Size is 47" wide, 17 1/2" deep and 33 1/2" tall.
