A late Victorian or Eastlake period dining table from about 1885 was carved of solid walnut and has eleven leaves. The pedestal "splits" to open, and conceals two hidden legs for extra support when extended.
The restored satiny finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. Six 12" wide leaves have matching skirts or aprons, there are also three 11 1/2" wide leaves plus two 13" wide leaves. Leaves fit and match well, the table opens and closes smoothly. Original patented slides were made in Ohio.
Measurements are 46" x 46" when closed, 30"tall, legroom is 25" underneath, and with all leaves in place, overall length is almost 15.'
