A "firken" is a traditional sugar bucket, used to buy bulk sugar at a store and keep at home for cooking. Hand crafted of pine, bindings and handle are hickory.

Waxed and buffed, this bucket has warm patina on this American antique farmhouse kitchen pantry accessory from the late 1800's.

Size is 12 1/2" across and 14" tall not including the folding handle.
