Victorian Antique Hand Painted Slate Top Tilting Chess Game or End Table #35008

Dating from the early Victorian period about 1850, this tilting game table has a top that is a thin slab of slate with hand painting and a chess or checkerboard design. The base is wood with black lacquer and gold accents.

The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving some wear and mars for a little antique character on this antique furniture.

When in flat position, the top is 17" x 20" and 24 1/2" tall.
