A pair of suitcases from the 1940's have leather trim and solid brass locks signed "Yale for Oshkosh," famous luggage makers in Wisconsin. The satin interior is in very fine condition, and this pair was little used. The embroidered signature reads "The Chief, Oshkosh Luggage."
This vintage pair has a brass tag from the store, "Stewart Benson of Buffalo," NY. Latches work but there are no keys.
The larger measures 20 1/2" square and 12 1/2" tall, the smaller is 18" x 13" and 6" deep.
