Traditional Chinese Vintage 4 Panel Coromandel Lacquer Screen #35218

A four panel Chinese screen is authentic carved "Coromandel" lacquer. Layers of colored lacquer are covered in black, then hand carved down through the colors to "reveal" the garden and birds design. The reverse has a traditional palace garden scene.

About 40 years old, there are various mars and touchups to this vintage Asian furniture, see photos. Feet are brass.

Panels are 16" wide and 1" deep, 6' tall and when folded accordion style as shown, about 4 1/2' wide. If stretched out flat, width is 5' 4" overall.
