A spectacular three piece mantle clock set from about 1890 has a sculpture of an angel or cherub, signed "France." Marble bases are beautiful. There are ram heads on the covered urns. The movement is signed "Societe Clusiennes, SCAPH, Cluses," France.
Sculpture and urns are spelter metal alloy with an original rich bronze finish on this palatial antique group from France.
The brass movement has been professionally serviced and keeps accurate time for a week on a winding, counting the hour and striking the half hour on a silvery bell. A stamp on the movement reads "Vincente, Gold Medal 1855." The porcelain dial is hand painted.
Clock size is 14 1/2" wide, 5 1/2" deep and 11" tall, urns are 4 1/2" across and 12" tall.
