Victorian Antique Walnut Bedroom Set, King Size Bed, 2 Chests Marble Tops #35359

A spectacular Victorian period three piece bedroom set from about 1870 includes a king size bed, marble top chest or dresser with a mirror and a small bedside chest or commode. Crafted of solid walnut with burl panels, sculpted three dimensional heads are authentic.

The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture.

The bed has been expertly adapted to standard modern king size, and includes wood cross supports and center legs as shown. Dimensions are 86" wide, 89" long, the headboard is 91" tall and the footboard is 37" high. Care should be taken with measuring for delivery, the finials and top crest are removable, and the headboard is then 83" tall and does not disassemble further.

The chest or dresser has candle stands flanking the mirror and there is a "secret" drawer in the base. Marble tops have minor stains and have been polished and given a protective finish. Drawers have dovetail joints and original drop pulls. Size is 51" wide, 21" deep and 93" tall.

Small chest dimensions are 32" wide, 18" deep and 41" tall.
