Italian Art Deco Antique Carved Walnut, Olive & Burl Armoire Wardrobe #35745

A spectacular Art Deco period armoire, wardrobe or closet from the 1920's was hand carved of walnut, olive and matched burl. Three curved and sculpted doors have working locks, the center has a shaped and beveled mirror. Made for a palazzo in northern Italy, the carving is masterful.

The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving lots of restorations and tiny shrinkage separations from age for antique character, see photos. Brass hardware is original, the mirror has a little "smoke" to show its age.

The center compartment is empty, the right has a closet pole and the left has removable shelves. This historic furniture can be disassembled for easier delivery.

Dimensions are 89" wide, 24" deep and 81 1/2" tall.
