Victorian Antique Walnut & Burl Secretary Desk #35940

A secretary desk from the Victorian period about 1875 is solid walnut with matched burl panels.

The restored lustrous finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique library furniture. Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints and original drop pulls.

Pull out rests support the drop front, inside are cubicles for paper and a new leather writing surface. The desktop is 32" high, so it was probably used standing or with a stool.

Measurements are 42" wide, 20" deep and 43" tall.
