Art Deco Waterfall Design 1930's Vintage 5 Pc. Bedroom Set, King Size Bed #36262

A "waterfall" design Art Deco five piece bedroom set from the late 1930's includes a king size bed, tall chest or highboy, dresser with mirror and a pair of nightstands. The nightstands are slightly different, see photos. No maker's signature survives.

The restored deep finish is in excellent condition on matched walnut burl, mahogany, cherry with inlaid banding.

Pulls have bakelite inserts and drawers have solid oak sides with dovetail joints on this American made vintage furniture. The original mirror is reverse carved and has losses and a little antique "smoke" to show its age as shown.

The bed has been expertly adapted to fit a standard modern king size mattress as shown, the demonstrator set is 18" thick together. Wood support cross pieces with center support legs are included.

Measurements are 81" wide, 90" long, the headboard is 55" tall and the footboard is 24" high.

Tall chest dimensions are 33" wide, 19" deep and 55 1/2" tall. Dresser size is 45" wide, 22" deep and 73" tall. Nightstands are 13" wide, 18" deep and 27" tall.
