Pair Bombe Tulipwood & Rosewood Marquetry Chests or Nightstands, Marble #36288

A palatial pair of "bombe" or convex shaped small chests could serve as end tables or nightstands. Genuine rosewood and tulipwood inlaid marquetry with banding, this pair was hand crafted in Italy abut 60 years ago.

The restored gleaming finish is in excellent condition on this elegant vintage furniture. Elaborate cast brass filigree mounts are original. Drawers have solid oak sides with dovetailed joints and silk bottoms. "Brescia" marble tops have been polished and given a protective finish.

Measurements are 25" wide, 15" deep and 27 1/2" tall.
