Victorian Antique Cast Iron Bookbinder 10 x 15 Book Press Decorative Only #36504

A Victorian period bookbinder's cast iron book press dates from around 1890. There is a chunk of iron broken off the hub of the wheel, see photos. It does work but we would not suggest trusting the screw if it were tightened all the way down and are selling this as "decorative only."

The old black paint is worn. Books up to 10" x 13" fit on this American made antique.

Overall size is 16" x 11" and 13 1/2" tall.
