Lift Top Antique Oak Office or Library 3 Drawer File Cabinet, Automatic #36541

A superior quality lift top quarter sawn oak file cabinet is signed "Automatic File of Green Bay, WI." Made for a law office, these were patented in 1914.

The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique office or library furniture.

Marketed as an "automatic" file, when the lid is raised, the front tilts forward for easy access. Top and bottom drawers fit legal or letter size files, and have original adjustable pushers and tilting fronts. Brass handles are original, sides and back are paneled and finished.

Overall size is 18 1/2" wide, 22" deep and 37" tall.
