A wonderful Victorian period cast iron umbrella and cane stand has a worn nickel finish, Dating from about 1890, there is a removable drip pan, signed "Coalbrookdale Company."
This company was organized by Abraham Darby in 1709 with an early blast furnace, and became famous for the first cast iron rails for railroads and the first iron bridge.
Dimensions are 21" wide, 9" deep and 30" tall.
