This farmhouse kitchen pantry cupboard was hand crafted of pine by a Scandinavian immigrant in Minnesota about 1860. Doors have raised panels, hand wrought iron hinges and working locks. The top shelf has notches for spoons.
The original finish has just enough wear for a little antique character, and has been preserved with clear varnish. Interior paint is charmingly worn, tiny drawers have hand cut dovetail joints. Wooden pegs instead of nails show the work of a master country carpenter.
The upper section is a separate piece for easier delivery.
Measurements are 51 1/2" wide at the crown, 23" deep and 82 1/2" tall.
