Brass & Iron Antique Laboratory Microscope, Case, Bausch & Lomb, NY #36729

A finely machined laboratory microscope from about 1900 is solid brass and iron, signed "Bausch & Lomb, Rochester, NY."

The original black finish is in very fine condition on this antique scientific instrument. There is a double sided mirror and adjustable aperture diaphragm.

Two eyepieces and two brass cans are included, and the turret has three swivel lenses. The solid oak case is well worn and has "finger" joints.

Size of the case is 8" x 6 1/2" and 15" tall.
