A Victorian period small chest or commode was crafted of solid walnut with burl panels about 1860. Drawers have "race track" moldings and hand carved "twig" pulls. The marble top has a backsplash, there are stains and fine hairline cracks, see photos.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. A marble top and shelf have all been polished and given a protective finish. Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints.
Dimensions are 35" wide, 21" deep, 41" tall and the top is 29" high.
