A Victorian period balance scale from around 1900 is signed by famous maker, "Henry Troemner of Philadelphia." Brass pans have a worn nickel finish on this American made antique.
A bell shaped weight slides on the balance bar. Four separate weights up to 10 lbs. rest on a leather top ledge on the base. The original painted finish is well worn. A November, 1910 inspection stamp is from Racine, Wis.
Overall size is 26" x 21" and 12" tall, without the pan 24" x 14" and 13" tall.
