French Empire Antique Mahogany 4 Pc Bedroom Set Queen Size Bed, Onyx Tops #37074

A stellar French Empire four piece bedroom set was hand crafted about 1900, and includes a queen size bed, chest with mirror and two nightstands with genuine semi-precious onxy tops.

Carved of solid mahogany with ribbon grain panels, the bronze mounts, pulls and laurel wreath crests are original.

The restored gleaming finish is in excellent condition on this antique furniture from France. Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints, onyx tops have been polished and given a protective finish.

The bed has been adapted to standard modern queen size with steel rails, Wood cross supports are included as shown. The demonstrator mattress and spring in photos are 18" thick together. Dimensions are 60" wide, 88" long, the headboard is 60" tall and the footboard is 36" high.

The shaped and beveled mirror has a hint of "smoke" to show its age on the chest or dresser. Size is 45 1/2'' wide, 21" deep and 84" tall.

Nightstands are a true left and right pair, size is 18" wide, 15" deep, 35" tall and the onyx tops are 32" high.
