A classic grand piano from famous Boston maker, "Chickering," was built in 1915 of figured mahogany. The action had a complete rebuild, including an oversized pin block, hammers, strings, etc. in 1995. This work was completed for a professional pianist, and cost over $10,000 at the local Steinway dealer.
Resonant tone and the delicate touch is exquisite on this antique American made musical instrument. Keys are original natural material in very fine condition.
The case has beautiful grain and an excellent hand rubbed finish, professionally restored in 2014 for over $3000. There is only minor wear on the silky smooth finish.
Measurements are 54" wide, 5' 7" long and 38" tall when the lid is closed.
The bench has a removable pad and storage underneath. Size is 36" long, 15" wide and 19" tall.
