A set of 8 Native American arrowheads in a shadowbox are indigenous projectile points from Tennessee and include notched and lanceolate points, ranging from 2.5" - 3.5" in length.
A note from the original owner inside the case reads "8 Great Knives Out of Tennessee" and "These were from my personal collection. They were found along the banks of the Tennessee River. Half of them may have doubled as spear/lance points at one time. They were always used as a multi-use tool. Sometimes they were used as big hide scrapers, other times as hafted knives or spear points. All were used for butchering and general purpose. Some have tip dings and minor chipping. They had a hard life and held up well for stone! All are at least 500 years old, and probably more like 1000's of years old!"
Measurements of shadow box are 12 1/2" wide, 8 1/2" tall and 1" deep.
